Ivy Kids Saturday: Art Machines

We’re so excited to partner with Baltimore-based STEAM toy designers at FutureMakers for our August IvyKids Event! In this playful engineering drop-in you and your child can create your own Art Machines – playful kinetic cardboard contraptions that move using simple and compound machines.

The $5.95 ticket fee covers 1 Art Machine kit to make at the event and take home with you. Kits will also be available for purchase at the event.

Art Machines are designed so caregivers and learners can create in parallel, and FutureMakers recommends purchasing an Art Machine kit for each person who will attend that day.

As usual, we’ll have coffee from Bird in Hand for the grown ups, and lawn games to try!
