Bob Bowie launches his new book of short essays, The Older You Are The Shorter Your Stories Should Be, alongside several beloved local writers who will read excerpts from the book as “toasts” during the evening happy hour. Come at 5 and stay the whole time, or drop by between 5-7pm to hear a toast, meet Bob, and have your book signed!
The Older You Are The Shorter Your Stories Should Be is a warm, witty collection of bite-sized stories, outsized characters, offbeat observations, and globe-trotting misadventures. Bob Bowie writes with clear-eyed honesty, compassion, and humor (often at his own expense).
